chapter two?

"so?"
"Ahem. Well, I have to tell you something whether you like it or not. What I am trying to say is that I am your uncle, your real father's brother, Lapun."
"Are you saying that they are not my real parents?"
"Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying."
"Prove it."
"Zorlu," his mother cried, "It's true."
Zorlu looked at his motehr in shock.
"This woman gave you to me in the forest," his father said as he consoled his wife.
"Your father's kingdom was under seige when you were just a baby. So your mother's maid fled to save you. She did not want them to get you because you are the key."
"The key? The key to what?" Zorlu asked.
"They key to saving the world. Do you not notice the increase in monsters?"
"Well, yes, I suppose."
"The evil forces are increasing and getting stronger by the minute. You have to find the stones and open he door before they do."
"What stones? door? what the hell are you talking about?"
"I can only tell you what I know. You must embark on a journey. You must find the chosen companions. You must find people with the same type as you are."
"Type?"
"Their true color will show on that pendant you are wearing."
Zorlu looked down at his pendant and it was glowing a fiery red. It was like he never noticed it before.
"It tells you friend or foe."
"I have to embark on a journey? What kind of crap is this?"
"What do you mean?"
"You appear out of nowhere telling me I'm adopted and heir to this ... kingdom and now you're dumping all this responsibility upon me without even asking me how I feel?"
"But it is your responsibility, without you the world is lost."
"What if I didn't want this responsibility?"
"Then it is your fault that the world ends."
"Oh gee, thanks."
"Now, come with me and I will prepare you for your journey."
Zorlu looked at his parents. "Don't worry about us. You have your destiny to fulfill. It may seem a lot, but think about all the lives you will save."
Zorlu looked back as his uncle.
"We will leave whenever you wish."
"Do I need to bring anything?"
"Your sword and your skill plus whatever you wish to bring."
"May we leave now?"
"As you wish."
Zorlu didn't want to see anymore tears from his family or say goodbye to his friends. He would raher just leave before all that. His uncle walked towards the doorway and Zorlu followed.
"Grab my hand," his uncle said holding out his hand. Zorlu obeyed and his uncle transported them across the ocean.
"Where are we going?"
"To my training area."
They landed on an area filled with equipment. Some of them Zorlu have never seen before.
"This is where you will train and enhance your skills."
Zorlu looked around him. There were plenty of weights all around him. There were strange objects as well. Looking at his uncle, he could see that he was physically fit in every way and their features were almost a mirror.
"Let's begin." His uncle removed his cloak and drew his sword.
They trained vigorously for five hours.
"Have you had enough?"
"No." said Zorlu, even though he was panting. If he was the key to saving the world, he would train so the burden of the world is not that great.
"Okay, let's take a break. Tomorrow we will enhance your mind."
"What?"
"Didn't you know you can control things with your mind?"
Zorlu was amazed, he didn't think anyone could do such a thing.
"To enhance your mind you need to focus your energy. Concentration is the key to mastering the skill."
Lupan demonstrated what he meant by focusing his energy on a weight and lifting it with his mind.
"Soon you will learn how to do that."
They continued to train for five months.
"Zoro, I thnk you are ready to journey out and stop the evil forces."
"But it's only been five months. How can I be ready already?"
"I have trained you andyou have mastered every skill. You are ready to take on the burden of the world. But you will need experience in the real world truly manage that burden. Now go rest and tomorrow you will start your journey."

Zoro woke up to see his sword cleaned and sharpened by his bedside. He turned to where his uncle slept but found the bed to be empty. He looked back to the sword and saw a piece of paper attached to it.

Zoro,
Set out on a journey and find your five companions. Go around the world and use your name, Zoro Kasuga, proudly. Do not hide who you are. But before you seek out your companions you need to find the Fool's stone, it will aid you in your journey. It holds great power and will enhance yours. Find it in the Denken Plateau and go from there. I must leave you and continue on my mission. We wll meet again.
Good Luck, Lupan

Zoro grabbed all the things he needed for his journey and left the training area without looking back.

chapter one?

Zorlu Kacony was just a normal teenager with an average teenage life in the village of Lalusca until one day.
The sky looked like it was one fire. Everyone was in a panic and everything was in chaos. The people of Lalusca thought it was the end of the world and they were all doomed. Everyone was trying to flee but then suddenly a cloaked figure descended. Everyone froze in their tracks, not knowing what misfortune would befall them now.
"Fear not Laluscians, I mean no harm. I am here searching for a young man."
The village elder came out to speak with the cloaked figure, "And whom do you seek?"
"I do not know what you call him now but he has a specific marking."
"Marking?," an elder woman asked, "What kind of marking?"
The cloaked figure lifted up his hand and showed them his marking [(<.)] . "It is one similar to mine." One of the women in the back cried out. The cloaked figure floated towards her. "What is it, woman?" The women could not speak. She was too frightened and shocked to speak. Her husband stepped up. "That marking is on our son, Zorlu. He is not our blood son, some woman in the forest gave him to us. That was sixteen years ago." "What did that woman say to you?" "She didn't say much. She gave him to me and said to take care of this boy. She handed me a pendant and then she told me to hurry and leave. She didn't want THEM to find him. She ran away from us, towards the river, and I returned back to the village." "May I see this boy?" The villagers began to murmur and talk all at once. "Silence!" the elder cried. Everyone fell silent. "Please go back to your houses." Even though everyone wanted to see what was going to happen, they returned to their homes. They had to obey the elder. "Please come this way," the elder led the cloaked man to his house. "Mr and Mrs Karcony please get your son and bring him to my house." Zorlu was training up in the hills. He always like swords, sometimes other villagers' children would come and train with him. Zorlu heard his name being called from the village so he headed back. He was still wondering about the fire in the sky. He ran to the village when he saw his parents. "What is it?" His father did not say anything and dragged him to the elder's house. Zorlu tried to protest but saw his mother in tears. "Why are we here? I didn't do anything wrong did I? Why is mother crying?" His father did not answer him. When they entered the elder's house, Zorlu saw a cloaked man. His parents began to leave, "You may stay and hear what I have to say." His parents obeyed and sat down on the provided chairs. "Your real name, Zorlu, is very similar to the one you have now. It is Zoro Kasuga of the Kasuga Kingdom. The Kingdom of the Kasuga people are gifted with the power of telekinesis power. Your father was Rokan Kasuga and your mother was Jessabella Lawey Kasuga. We had to be an isolated clan so others could not reveal our secret. We lived on an island, but that island is no more. It was destroyed when the Dark Forces came. They saw us Kasugins as a threat to their growing power so they attacked us in the middle of the night. We were a peaceful kingdom so we did not expect such a vicious attack. We fought long and hard but could not defeat them. The dark forces came from all directions. They now live in our homeland. The castle is still there and is now the headquarters of the dark forces. The castle also hlds many secrets and only you can enter it. For you have the blood of your father and mother. That is why I need you to come with me. I need you to find a way to stop the dark forces. I need you, the Chosen One, as it is said int he prophecy. When Darkness has Comes and hope seems lost the chosen one and his companions will come and bring light back to us the land will be green and the Kingdom of Kasuga wil return and the king shall be proclaimed the chosen one is you! Zoro. You are our last and only hope! The fate of the world rests on your shoulders.

prologue

From a distance it looked like there was nothing wrong with the castle. But getting closer, cries of terror could be heard from within. Demons and creatures were killing everyone. Fires were being set all around, homes were burnt to the ground.
The Dark Lord, all black and evil, walked up to the castle steps and told his minions "Let no mortal live. All shall die."
All the minions let out roars of agreement.

Within the deep the king and queen tried to do their best to protect everyone but the Dark Forces were too great.
"Before they break in, don't let them get our son, my queen. You must flee! Protect him."
"No. I don't want to leave you! I will never leave you."
This baby was in his nanny's arm crying because of the evil laughter and tortured cries. It tries to squirm out of his nanny's arms, reaching for his mother.
Jessabella and Rokan went to their son , trying to soothe him. Jessabella cried as she held her son, "There, there Zoro. I'm here now. Hush now and don't cry. I'll always be with you."
Zoro quieted at these words, but was startled when the door burst in.
"Brother, the castle has been breached! We can no longer hold them off."
"Jessabella, my dear, take our son and run."
"No, I already told you, I will never leave you."
"Lupan, take my son and his nanny to safety."
"But I can't just leave you."
"Just do as I ask."
"Yes, Rokan. I will protect the boy with my life."
Lupan grabbed the nanny and the boy and fled while the Dark Forces bursted into the room. Rokan and Jessabella had already started a chant to seal off the Dark Lord.
Lupan and the nanny, holding Zoro, floated away but some creatures were following. They went as far as they could.
"Hide here. I'll be back." Lupan told the nanny.
The nanny hid in the bushes trying to remain silent but could hold on no longer. The creatures were approaching fast and the nanny had to think fast. She started to run and she came upon a man and a woman. She gave Zoro to them. "Please protect this child. Don't let them take him." She gave them the pendant of their kind. "Run. Run back to your village. There is danger about." She kissed Zoro's forehead and gave her final goodbye.
The couple heard cries and roars of anger. They began to run to their village.
The nanny ran away from them, toward the river. She grabbed a large rock and whapped it in a cloth to resemble a child. As the creatures neared, she stepped into the water. "I'll never let you have him." She jumped into the river and drowned herself. They thought she had died along with the baby so they returned back to their lord.
But what they found did not please them. Their lord was trapped inside another dimension and the lord and lady of the keep already died by casting the spell to seal the Dark Lord. But they vowed to continue their lord's wish to control the world. THey took over the keep and made it their own, swearing to bring their lord back.
