Around the City 9.30 and 10.19

Discarded heart at a Muni Stop

Spaceship in the Sky

This happened a while back and I only took a picture of the sauce packet now.

But this lady comes in and orders and she goes over to the hot sauce area and picks one of these up
Photobucket
and asked if she could inquire about purchasing advertising space. Which we thought was hilarious [we didn't say that to her face] Because it was the first time that a customer ever said such a thing. Those things on the packets were just jokes and she apparently didn't get it. She actually thought that we rent advertising space on packets.
She Probably had business on the brain. Good times

Dining In

Today I woke up early in the morning to have breakfast with Sophia. More like get hashbrowns with Sophia. The walk up took longer than the walk down - how troublesome. And it was a rather hot day outside despite how the weather was not two days ago. Along the way I saw Christina waiting in the car for her husband Ben to finish up talking with the travel guide.
After having "breakfast" with Sophia we went down to Safeway and walked through each of the aisles and then went home to start making foods for when Dany and Susan came. We had salad, pasta, brownies, and jellos [that we didn't get to]

It was nice to just hang out and chat but then there were times when I got annoyed with what was said and what someone didn't do >.>

I get annoyed easily, it's rather troublesome. It was fun until that point. So let's not do it again?

Grandma didn't eat that much - but then again the salad was kind of hard and she ate a little of that and the brownies.
Fattening good brownies [drools] with ice cream.... Did I mention ice cream? We bought two tubs of Breyers ice cream... I know... it was on sale though =/

Customer 10.14

This lady spilled her drink on the stairs going upstairs and luckily there wasn't any ice in it so it wasn't that big of a mess. While I was mopping it up Tom [one of our regular customers] was coming down the stairs to get more drinks. I said I would get it for him since the steps were wet and he's a very elderly man so he said that he'll hold my mop for me while I went to get his drink but Diana saw me and said she'll get it and while this was going on Tom started mopping the stairs. I said why are you mopping, he said it was okay, he mops like this at home too, and I said that it's my job not your job, you don't have to do it.
Such a cute old man :)

Another note:
A bunch of relatives [according to Maggie "from the smallest ones to the biggest scary monsters"] came over to the house and brought a shit load of food over along with some choy and whatnot. Fourth Great Auntie stayed until later and help Maggie and Grandma cook dinner. I came home when they started cooking dinner after I went over to Janet's place to check on some things and to unplug a few things as well >.>

Good times.

Day around the City 10.9

Today I finally mailed my letter to my aunt in Arizona - well, not really a letter but a tiny box filled with trinkets and whatnot.
After that I went to the Richmond District to have an early lunch[?] with Sophia at Burma Superstar... and as always my eyes are bigger than my stomach. But it was still good. We tried something different this time rather than the Rainbow Salad. We tried the Samusa Salad with was really good even though it was a tad spicy. I got the Nan Pia Dok and Sophia got the Garlic Noodles which were both good but then I should have gotten the Nan Gyi Dok because it didn't have a whole boiled egg >.>

After that we bought some candies from See's... or rather I did and bought some junk food along the way then we walked to Golden Gate Park where we saw the Blue Angels doing warm-ups. Sophia got some pictures but she's not online to share them yet =(

It was pretty awesome but they were kind of far away. There were only a few times where they were really close but Sophia didn't have her camera ready to take the shots.
But chilling at the Music Concourse in the Park was pretty nice... except for the bird that scared me... but that's another thing.

[edit] yay pictures

Day around the City 10.8

I saw a group of McCafe Segway riders, a bunch of teens driving around advertising for their new coffee and whatnot. My first thought was that it was a waste of monies to buy all these segweys. My second thought was that why were they riding in a pack and not separately to gain more ground - but there was this one lone rider coming slowly around the bend-? and why did they stop in front of the ToyBoat Cafe of all things...

I should have taken a picture =/
